Meet our Artist

Once in a while, we have the unique opportunity to embrace a purely original artist. Aqeela Reyad, better known as Q, is that opportunity. 

Born and raised in the nation’s capital, Washington D.C (by the way of New York and Miami), Q has been in love with music since her mother introduced her to her vinyl albums on easy Saturday mornings. She became engulfed, hypnotized by the music and the different artist. 
She realized her musical gift when she joined the elementary school glee club, but truly found her sound in high school while singing hooks for local artists. Here, Q realized the potential and possibility of creating and producing music. She began working with producers exclusively, experimenting and working with her sound.

Atlanta has been the home where Q has made a mark and name for herself. She writes and records her own music. Her album, Ta Heaven, is a compilation of music, which she calls Galactic Soul—a mixture of classic soul and her transcendental sound. Her stage presence and acts have developed after performing at several local spots, such as Apache Café, Pals, The Loft, 529, Erosol Department Store, and Georgia State University.  She has also performed nationally at SXSW in Austin Texas and Miami’s Art Basel, collaborating with artist and producers such as Doctah B Sirius, Jb, Methuzulah, Massivelyfe, and Mudnot Studios.

Along with creating her own music, Q has founded Cypha House, which provides other artists with the opportunity to develop and hone in on their craft, along with providing a creative think tank to produce their work. It’s about more than money.  Q developed Cypha House to uplift the community, to elevate humanity through entertainment, education, and soul-shifting sounds. Not only is she enhancing her own career, but she is also fostering a space to do the same for a community of high vibrational artists.

Q’s soul has called out for her own unique sound and style, for the perfect fusion, the sweetest harmony; and she is living in her purpose and ready to present it to the World.

Steve ChiProfess is a music artist/producer/DJ originally from Chicago. At an early age, ChiProfess fell in love with his parents collection of vinyl and 8 track tapes and began DJing for his family. With a strong love for music, he also had an interest in producing music and started playing keyboard and drum machines. ChiProfess started DJing parties in his local area and producing music at the age of 15. With house music being his first love, Steve would produce house tracks and edits for his own DJ sets and for other Chicago area DJs. Steve started working with samples and producing hip hop in the late 80s working with a few artists and groups in the Chicago area. After joining the military, Chi began producing more hip hop and was the produce for a hip hop group in which he produced all the music from 92′ to 95′ near Ft. Hood Texas. This is where Steve was given the moniker “ChiProfess”, by the MCs in his rap group.

ChiProfess relocated from Chicago to Atlanta with his family in 2006 where he has made a name for himself in the music and social communities. In 2013, Steve established his music brand, “Soul Synergy.” The vision of Soul Synergy is to connect with other artists, DJs and producers with similar visions to work together and produce collaborative projects and events to influence unity and love. Striving to unite the community as a whole, in an effort to lift each other to a higher spiritual and musical plane, through the power of connection. The Soul Synergy vision manifested a weekly internet radio show on two internet stations called “Soul Synergy”, a record label, “Soul Synergy Music”and the Soul Synergy Parties in Atlanta, which ChiProfess is resident DJ with local and international DJ guests over the years including Kai Alce’, DJ Beloved, Vick Lavender, Jamie 3:26, Steve Maxwell and a host of others. Steve has held down several DJ residencies in Atlanta and cofounded the annual park event “The United Soul House Dance Party.” ChiProfess’ mixes can be found on his Soundcloud page named Soul Synergy Music.

ChiProfess has been releasing music since 2013 with several releases in the Soulful House music genre, working with several labels including his own Soul Synergy Music, House 4 Life, Toupee Records, Tambor Music, CyberJamz, Afrique Electrique and now Galactic Soul Synergy. Chi has done remixes and original music with several artists including Kwi B., Cortney LaFloy, Nadiyah Day, Gaelle, Mona Bode’, Robb Clark and Q (Galactic Soul Singer). ChiProfess and his partner Q of CyphaHouse aka the Galactic Soul Singer merged in 2020 to form the music group and label Galactic Soul Synergy. The Galactic Soul Synergy music label released the dance floor anthem “All Over the World” on 11.11.2020. Galactic Soul Synergy released their Top 100 charting Traxsource Exclusive tune called “More Love” on 08.28.2020 and released it worldwide on 11.19.2021.
